The IABSE Symposium Prague 2022 was a three-day international structural engineering on-site conference that brought together students, designers, contractors, owners, and specialists from around the globe to network and exchange cutting-edge knowledge. It was IABSE's second time returning to Prague. The IABSE Symposium 1971 was held in this lovely city (then part of Czechoslovakia) under the leadership of Frantiek Faltus, one of IABSE's founding members, fifty years ago.
The Symposium was a success and presented and discussed the most recent advancements in bridge and structural engineering, with a focus on bridge and structural engineering difficulties. It was a great opportunity for all structural engineers active in design, academia, construction, regulation, and renewal to reunite with fellow IABSE members and learn about their progress since and after the challenging days.

The Scientific Committee (SC) is chaired by Prof. František Wald, Czech Technical University in Prague, Department of Steel & Timber Structures.
