Congress Proceedings

Full papers accepted by the Scientific Committee will be published in the IABSE Congress Proceedings, which will be available in electronic format before the Congress begins. The publication of each paper is conditional upon that the presenting author registers to attend the Congress. IABSE Congress Proceedings are abstracted and indexed under Scopus.

Technical Programme

The scientific part will  include Keynote, Plenary and Parallel Sessions for three days. A parallel domestic conference on bridge engineering will be held concurrently with shared themes, opening ceremony and keynote speakers. The official language of the Congress is English.

Young Engineers Programme

Participants born in or after 1988 will benefit from a reduced registration fee and are granted a free IABSE membership for the year 2022. In addition, authors born in or after 1988, who personally present their papers at the Congress, will be recognized with awards consisting of a money prize offered by the OC and the IABSE Fellows.

Technical Visits

The Technical Visits include two world record-breaking bridge projects, both of which are under construction and located in Jiangsu Province across the Yangtze River near Nanjing. All Congress participants and accompanying persons will be privileged to visit these two bridges. More detailed information will be available in the final invitation and be updated on the congress website.
