Project Description:

The Anjiazhuang Bridge of Jingyu Expressway located in Beijing, China, adopts parallel curved steel truss cable-stayed bridge and curved continuous steel truss bridge to cross the existing Fengsha Railway and Yongding River, and pioneers the high pier top synchronous rotation construction technology of double curved steel truss cable-stayed bridges.


Judges Comments

The Anjiazhuang Bridge of Jingyu Expressway in Beijing adopts parallel bridges – a curved cable-stayed steel truss bridge and a curved continuous steel truss bridge - to cross the existing Fengsha Railway and the Yongding River. The construction method involved significant pier top synchronous rotation of both girders to resolve complex geometric constraints.
