Kunstsilo, Norway Project Description: Transformation of 1930s silos into a contemporary art museum, preserving and reimagining an industrial heritage landmark. Strategic removal created a cathedral-like hall, while innovative post-tensioned strengthening and an external shell enabled reuse of the original structure, minimizing material consumption and embodied carbon through composite action of old and new concrete.
