Project Description:

The Tomei Tamagawa Bridge is a steel girder bridge on the six-lane expressway section in the Tokyo Metropolitan area with a daily traffic volume of 100,000 vehicles. The concrete deck was replaced in five transverse segments with new technologies. This methodology contributed to maintaining lane availability and minimizing traffic congestion.
