Hangar Bridge, Norway

Project Description:

The Hangar Bridge is a new 55 metre aluminium network arch bridge for pedestrians and cyclists in Trondheim, Norway.  The project showcases Norway’s pioneering use of aluminium in modern bridge construction and makes extensive use of repurposed aluminium components from a decommissioned offshore platform. The solutions combine competitiveness, sustainability, and cost efficiency, representing the forefront of aluminium bridge design and production.
