Project Description:

To improve the soft mobilities, the city of Albi desired a new footbridge cantilevered from an existing railway viaduct, crossing the Tarn. Together with MS-A (urban design), Ney & Partners won the design competition. The footbridge subtly interacts with the viaduct while giving new sights on the UNESCO city centre.

This bridge which was the winning design in an international competition subtly interacts with the viaduct while providing new and exciting viewpoints on the UNESCO city centre and the surrounding valley.
