Project Description:

The Railway bridge sits in Yiwu, China’s small-commodity hub. Designed for speeds of up to 350 kilometres per hour, it uses a 168 metre span low‑beam composite arch to cross an urban expressway. Its innovative elastic restraint system reduces the thermal expansion range, eliminating rail expansion joints, and it has been recognized among the China Top Ten Novel Engineering Technology projects.
