Project Description:

Yibin Yiyun Digital Art Centre integrates regional heritage with novel design, introducing a steel gridshell–concrete-core of curved box-section steel members, a radial fish-belly transfer truss, and a floating “room-within-a-room” lecture-theatre. Variable-depth semi-rigid composite beams create column- free, naturally ventilated spaces, reducing carbon, material and energy use while preserving topography and vegetation.
