Young Engineers Colloquium on 7-8 November 2025 - Upcoming!

YEC2025 will be held in Munich, which will be co-organised by the German and the Italian National Groups. 

The Colloquiium will take place on 7th November, followed by technical walks on 8th November.

The German Group of IABSE is planning to organise a Young Engineers Colloquium in association with the Japanese Group, and with the Italian Group. In these short videos, Geralt Siebert, Chair; Prof. Barbara Siebert, and Peter Seitz, Secretary talk about the upcoming YEC which will take place in Tokyo in 2025, and also why one should join the association.

The German Group of IABSE organised the 7th 'The Young Engineers Colloquium 2023 (YEC)' as an annual event for young engineers and pratictioners at the Technische Universität Dresden from 30-31 May, 2023, in association with the Czech Group of IABSE. This colloquium offered the opportunity to young engineers to present their interesting project from university, research or construction practice to an audience of fellow engineers from the civil engineering sector. It provided attendees with an overview of current research topics as well as challenging construction projects, and was an excellent platform to exchange ideas among experienced and young engineers.
